So thrilled to help Tim sell his house the 1st day on the market for $5,000 over the asking price. Furthermore, it was for more money than any house had ever sold for in the neighborhood! Home Staging works. His original plan was to sell For Sale by Owner! He called Melinda for a home staging consultation and realized she could sell his home faster, for more money, handle all the details and he could join his family that was already in Iowa. A perfect plan that worked exactly as planned.
Hilarie and Jeff – 2 fun real estate success stories
Excited that we were able to help these two and absolutely loved working with Jeff and Hilarie. We sold their home the 1st day on the market, for $10,000 over the asking price which allowed them to close on their new home right on schedule and with some extra dough in their pocket. Even more than that, they found a way to save time at closing by signing all of those papers…they both signed at the same time! Too funny!
Sometimes clients become great friends!
Renee and Dave sold their big home in Shawnee and downsized to a much smaller home that better suited their lifestyle. We thought they would never find a house that they both liked. It was a wild journey. What Renee liked, Dave didn’t like, and vice-versa. As a result, when we finally figured out that Dave needed to be able to see the television from the kitchen, they bought a house. And they bought a house that Dave couldn’t see the television from the kitchen. Go figure!
Melinda’s favorite senior citizens!
Another senior citizen story – Keith and Marilyn told us to do whatever it takes to sell their home the 1st weekend it was on the market. “It’s what we do!” They had an opportunity to downsize and buy into an assisted living facility and needed the proceeds from their home to make it happen. However, after seeing their home, it was obvious they had made no updates since the 1970s. We spent a full day staging, styling, and bringing in accessories to update their very dated home. It sold for $5,000 over the asking price, the 1st day on the market with multiple offers competing. Needless to say, they were extremely happy, moved to assisted living, and referred us to 2 of their neighbors creating more real estate success stories!
Sold after moving to California
Because Rick and Karen had already moved to California, they left everything to us regarding selling. We brought in a truckload of furniture and accessories to make this large home come to life! We received 3 offers in the first 3 hours after coming on the market. We sold it in a bidding war for $15,000 over the asking price for cash and it closed in 2 weeks. Rick and Karen were ecstatic!
